Dr. Christopher Green, MD
APG Medical Director
Board Certified Internal Medicine PhysicianDr. Christopher Green, MD, is both the Medical Director of APGnetwork and a leading physician in our Enhanced Wellness Care program. With over four decades of experience, Dr. Green is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through comprehensive, conservative medical care.
Dr. Green practices at our Alton, IL location. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago in 1979 and completed his internship and residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and also holds certifications in ECG interpretation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Dr. Green currently serves as President of the Alton Medical Society and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Green has served as Medical Director at d’Adrian Nursing Home, Eunice Smith Nursing Home, BJC Home Health, and Hatch Extended/Subacute Care. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping high standards of patient care across these facilities.
A lifelong resident of Alton, IL, Dr. Green graduated from Marquette Catholic High School. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Dr. Green is known not only for his clinical expertise but also for his compassionate approach to care—making him a trusted leader within APGnetwork and the local medical community.

Dr. Hamed Sadeghipour, MD
Interventional Joint & Spine Specialist, Anesthesiologist, and Intensivist (Critical Care Physician)
Interventional Joint & Spine Pain Management Specialist
Dr. Hamed Sadeghipour is a highly trained physician specializing in interventional joint and spine pain management. With a background in anesthesiology, critical care, and pain medicine, he brings a comprehensive and personalized approach to treating both acute and chronic pain.
He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, followed by two years of surgical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He went on to complete his anesthesiology residency and a critical care fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he cared for some of the most complex patients in the ICU. He then pursued advanced training in pain management at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Sadeghipour is an assistant professor at Saint Louis University Hospital’s Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care. He provides anesthesia care, manages acute pain cases, and teaches medical students and residents.
Recognized for his excellence in both clinical care and research, Dr. Sadeghipour has received several prestigious awards, including the 2019 Excellence in Research Award from Cedars-Sinai and the SLUCare Anesthesiology Award for Initiative, Creativity, and Leadership in Education.
Dr. Sadeghipour uses the latest evidence-based treatments and advanced techniques to help patients manage pain and improve their quality of life.
He is currently seeing patients at our O'Fallon location.

Dr. Tong Zhu, MD
Interventional Pain Management Physician
Dr. Zhu practiced pain management and rehabilitation at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL from 2013 to 2015 and Heartland Spine Institute in Cape Girardeau, MO from 2015 to present. Dr. Zhu joins our Pain Management Team based out of our Edwardsville and Alton locations.
Dr. Zhu is board certified in Pain Management and Rehabilitation from UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. He completed his internship at Allegheny General Hospital/West Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. His residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and his fellowship in pain medicine were completed at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to routine injections such as epidural steroid injections, Dr. Zhu also has expertise in spinal cord stimulators, kyphoplasty, discography and radio frequency ablation for complicated spines.
Dr. Zhu sees patients in our Edwardsville location.

Scott Morrison, MD
Board Certified Primary Care Physician
Dr. Scott F. Morrison, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with over two decades of comprehensive clinical experience, including leadership roles in both military and civilian healthcare settings. A summa cum laude graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a Saint Louis University School of Medicine alumnus, Dr. Morrison completed his residency at the Indiana University/Methodist Hospital Family Practice program, where he served as Chief Resident. His early career included distinguished service as a Major in the United States Air Force, where he led the Family Practice Clinic at Nellis Air Force Base.
Since 2005, Dr. Morrison has been a trusted family physician in O’Fallon, Illinois, contributing to clinical excellence and innovation through roles on hospital committees focused on family practice, electronic health records, IT, and quality improvement. His professional interests include sports medicine, travel medicine, and occupational health, while personally, he enjoys technology, hiking, biking, and running. Dr. Morrison brings not only deep medical expertise but also a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Dr. Morrison will be seeing Primary Care patients in our O’Fallon and Swansea locations.
