Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Injection

The Sacroiliac (SI) joints are located on either of the tailbone and connect the tailbone to the pelvis. It is believed that dysfunction in the SI joint is a cause of low back and/or leg pain that radiates down the leg. It can often be confused with sciatica or pain caused by herniated discs.

An SI Join injection will relieve pain by administering a short-acting anesthetic combined with anti-inflammatory medication into the joint and surrounding structures.
