RN - BOARD-CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Candyce is a registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner and has been practicing in the area for over 10 years. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Louis University, and her Masters from Maryville University. Prior to joining APG, Candyce worked in the NAII unit at Anderson Hospital, the Mercy Heart Hospital Cardiac/Medical Progressive Care Unit in St. Louis, she was a practice nurse clinician in the Mercy Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Clinic and a practice nurse clinician in the Mercy Plastic Surgery and Burn Clinic.

Candyce will be seeing patients and working alongside Dr. Green in our Alton Internal Medicine department in Alton IL.

RN, BOARD CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Jodi is a board certified Nurse Practitioner serving patients primarily in our Edwardsville office. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Prior to joining the combinatorial care team at APG, Jodi was a Family Nurse Practitioner at the SSM Health Medical Group in Fairview Heights, and worked on the Missouri side in their Maternal & Fetal Care Center in St. Louis.

Jodi treats patients in Pain Management and/or Internal Medicine according to the direction and training collaborative physicians. She is a certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and both the Illinois and Missouri State Boards of Nursing.

BOARD CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Christy is a Family Nurse Practitioner board-certified in both Illinois and Missouri. She sees patients primarily in our O’Fallon location.

Christy received her Associates and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University.

Prior to joining the Pain and Internal Medicine departments at APG, Christy was a Family Nurse Practitioner at Mantality Health, Multicare Specialist and Signify Health, and was an RN at Anderson Hospital ER.

CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER – PAIN SPECIALIST

Brad Sands is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Associated Physicians Group who specializes in helping patients manage chronic pain and get back to doing what they love. He works closely with each patient to create personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, injections, and medication management, and is known for his efficient, patient-focused care.

Before joining the practice, Brad gained valuable experience in urgent care and emergency medicine, treating a wide range of acute conditions and performing in-office procedures. He also played an active role in COVID-19 testing and evaluation, bringing a steady, adaptable approach to high-demand situations.

Brad’s background in critical care nursing, including leadership in the ICU, gives him a strong clinical foundation and a calm, confident presence with patients. He earned his Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Maryville University and his nursing degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and remains committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care.

RN - BOARD CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER

Sarah is a registered nurse and a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Nursing from McKendree University and her Master of Nursing from Maryville University in St Louis. In a previous life, Sarah worked as a Registered Nurse and Team Lead at BJC, and was an RN at Alton Memorial Hospital for 14 years.

Sarah is seeing patients with Dr. Christopher Green in our Alton Internal Medicine office.

BOARD-CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Taylor has been a provider in the area for over 12 years, serving patients in a multitude of capacities. Prior to joining APG, she was an advanced practice nurse at BJC Medical Group Gastroenterology - Belleville, IL; advanced practice nurse in Primary Care Medicine MetroEast Healthcare – Maryville, IL and a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital St Louis, MO, where she worked in women’s health and medical surgical units.

Taylor earned her BSN from SIUE, and her MSN from Maryville University St. Louis.

Taylor will be seeing patients in both pain management and internal medicine in our Alton location.

ADULT GERONTOLOGY PRIMARY CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER

Skilled Registered Nurse & Advanced Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in providing excellent care to patients and helping them achieve the highest quality of life. Successfully identifying and managing primary care health needs such as upper respiratory infection, weight management, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, and hormone imbalances. Continually exceeds expectations building strong relationships and works well with people at all levels of the organization, including stakeholders, patients, families, and team members. Looking to continue current clinical role focusing on male health optimization.

Prior to joining APG, Mike saw patients in the HSHS System in Highland and Metro East Healthcare in Maryville, was a Pain Management provider at Infinite Wellness in Glen Carbon and was an RN in the High-Risk Cardiology Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Mike will be seeing patients primarily in our O’Fallon and Alton Locations.
