JoAnn Adams is a Nurse Practitioner at Associated Physicians Group. She graduated from Deaconess College of Nursing where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After working as a registered nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, she attended Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College where she earned her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing-ANP.
She has worked as staff nurse, nurse coordinator and team leader serving patients in the neuromedicine, neurosurgery and emergency departments as well as the medical/surgical intensive care units.
Adams has held nurse practitioner positions serving patients in the anesthesia department at Barnes Jewish Hospital as well as an area Neurology practice. She is a member of St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice and a recipient of the United States Achievement Academy National Collegiate Nursing Award.

Lauren Finnerty, FNP-C
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Finnerty graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College as well as an Associate of Science in Nursing, and her Phlebotomy Certification from Southwestern Illinois College.
Prior to joining APG in 2017, Lauren has cared for patients as a registered nurse in hospital, urgent care, pediatric and outpatient settings. She holds multiple certifications including basic and advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric life support. She has served as a nurse preceptor and mentor at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and United Surgical Partners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners/AANP and the St. Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, Lauren cares for patients primarily at our O’Fallon, IL location, but can be spotted helping out at our other locations as well.

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Katie House is a board-certified family nurse practitioner whose primary focus is adult and family primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, IL. She earned her diploma of Nursing from Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO.
Katie has cared for patients in hospital, urgent care, pediatric intensive care and outpatient settings. She holds certifications in basic and advanced life support in addition to pediatric life support. She started her healthcare career at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis and has been with Associated Physicians Group since March of 2017.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, Katie cares for patients primarily at our Columbia, IL location, but can see patients at our other locations as well.

Elizibeth Pittman, CNP
Certified Nurse Practitioner – Pain Specialist
Elizibeth Pittman is a board-certified nurse practitioner whose primary focus is adult pain management and resolution. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and Master of Science in Nursing from Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. She earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Elizibeth’s specialty is pain care. She has cared for patients in hospital, urgent care and outpatient settings, has held numerous director positions throughout her carreer and sees collaboration with other specialties as the catalyst for the best possible patient outcomes. Elizibeth joined Associated Physicians Group in December of 2017.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, Elizibeth cares for patients primarily at our Swansea location, but will be seeing patients at our other locations as well.

Danielle Rennie, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C
Certified Nurse Practitioner — APG Alton Internal Medicine
Danielle Rennie is a Nurse Practitioner serving patients in our Alton location. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College.
Prior to working with APG, Danielle was a staff nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit providing direct patient care for complex/high acuity patients including patients with multi-organ failure, acute respiratory distress syndrome, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarctions, diabetic ketoacidosis, continuous renal replacement therapy and temporary pacemakers.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, Danielle cares for patients primarily at our Alton, IL location also assisting Dr. Christopher Green‘s internal medicine practice.

Christy Weiss
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Christy Weiss is a Nurse Practitioner at Associated Physicians Group. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing-ANP degrees at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College.
She has worked as a patient care technician and staff nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital serving patients in the colorectal surgery, cardiothoracic, and medical/surgical Intensive care units. Christy also has extensive experience providing health education and preventive services, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests and medication management.
